I use a internet based system at work and I want to open a second session in a second window, which the system allows. But in order for it to work the second window has to be a new session. Internet Explorer has a New Session option under file. I have not been able to find any thing like it on Firefox. I tried opening the second window as a Private Window but that did not work. Really DO NOT want to use Internet Explorer. Any ideas?

Note that all Private Browsing mode windows share the same cookies, so the first window should be a normal window to make this work.

You can also consider to use a second Firefox profile folder if you only need two instances.

You can add -no-remote to the command line to open another Firefox instance with its own profile and run multiple Firefox instances simultaneously.
