Sounds like a combination of two features:

  1. Form history -- shows a drop-down of previous entries into a particular form field when you click in or start typing in a form field
See: Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms

  2. Firefox Sync -- copies various data between instances of Firefox that you have connected to the Sync service (you can select different categories)
See: How do I choose what information to sync on Firefox?

If either of those is incorrect, then... ghosts?
