XP Pack 2 has corrupt ie8, removal tool warns me removing ie8 may affect my firefox, is this true?
I'd like to remove my ie8 and revert to 7 or reload 8, however among the things listed in the warnings when attempting to remove, Firefox is listed. It's not specific about how firefox may be affected. I'm worried it may remove firefox completely and leave me unable to reload it and still end of with a corruption if the reloads don't solve the corruption. Any ideas?

Hi, also, as another option... download the latest portable firefox version(and keep it somewhere safe) to be sure if removing ie8 affect firefox then you be able to download it with the portable version :-)
thank you
