Virus erased contact list. Are contact list backed up and can they be recovered?
I was using Thunderbird to view my email. I had a virus that was an attachment to an email accidentally opened and infected my computer. It erased all email and contact lists. I'm trying to find out if there is any sort of automatic backup on Thunderbird in which I can recover any email contacts. Thanks.

The only backups of any data including address books are the ones that you make.
Read this article. It talks about recovering them from a damaged profile.
