Thunderbird is not working , It only opens in 'sandbox"-avast and it creates multiple entries of the one email, mostly it won't let me send because it doesn't recognize my out going server . There is a lot of data in my account that I would like to save , otherwise I would download a better email program.

M y guess is another case of avast crippling Thunderbird.

Note - crash reports typically do not get responses. They as for your email address so they can get in touch with you if THEY want to, not the other way around. (the wording is fairly clear on that point)
