icons in favorite bar instead of text

With internet explorer i have a favorites bar with only icons on it. How is this not an option with firefox ? Now the bar is full with 10 fevorites, but i got more. And this option is perfect for this.

Not a default feature in Firefox. I have deleted the bookmark "Name" (or bookmark folder name) to only have the icon to show, but there is an extension which adds that type of feature to Firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/only-icons/
