currently, on a mac, one can only add attachmenst from within an email message It would be nicer if one could, just as on a windows system is possible, drag a file to the message and drop it to act as an attachment

Hi Erik.

I don't know if on Mac, but on other platforms it works. You just need to drop the file above To columns, not the message body.

Hi Michal

thanks for the reply I am aware that on other platforms it works to drop the attachment (I used to work under Windows in combination with Thunderbird) But on a mac, Thunderbird does not accept an attachment this way: nothing happens when I drop it above the email, regardless of the location where I drop it

Regards Erik
