Why I can't use ".\" or "..\" in path address? For portable version it is very important for example in Options/General/homepage if it on HDD, or in signnature.

I use Thunderbird portable, because sometimes I change path/destination of Thunderbird (for example on other computer). After this my startpage/homepage do not work even it is in Thunderbird folder, the same problem is with signature.

Today my homepage and signature is in Thunderbir folder: D:\Thunderbird\Other\StartPage\Start.html D:\Thunderbird\Other\Signature\Sign.html If tomorrow I move Thunderbir on drive C Thunderbir does not see these files. It would be nice to have possible to use ".", "..", "\" in file path. For my files it will be: \Other\StartPage\Start.html \Other\Signature\Sign.html (without "C:\Thunderbird")

Because there was problem with "Add image", two image files below: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wpqsyexmknk5hyt/Thunderbird%20StartPage.PNG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/5lqs1eminbtvsnh/Thunderbird%20Sign.PNG?dl=0

Thunderbird expects to be installed on a computer in one place all the time.

Portable apps release a portable version which they have modified to make it portable. I suggest you ask them about this as it is not really an issue with the non portable version.
