My bank uses Trusteer software from IBM to keep fraud down. Since the update to firefox 44.0 the trusteer software is not running in firefox. Website continues to ask me to download the software. I have reloaded the Trusteer software multiple times today and re-started the PC as well. Trusteer is working on my PC because I used Internet Explorer (v 11.0.26) to access my banking information.

Chosen solution

Download the Release version from here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/#desktop or here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ (full, off-line installer version)

Un-install that Beta version, then install the Release version. Your Profile won't be touched, so your bookmarks, that Trusteer extension, and other 'data' are safe.

FOR SOME REASON MY BROWSER WAS MARKED "BETA". Could have happened when I Upgraded to windows 10. But I cannot find a way to revert back to an older working release.

You likely installed what was a Beta build of a version (there can be six to twelve beta builds for a version) at some point instead of the current release and continued on Beta channel since.
