My computer recently 'crashed' when loading w10 and I had to reinstall Thunderbird but it has come back without the address book. How do I get ti ti take addresses from incoming emails to recreate the address book?

Have you tried right clicking on the sender in the From field in the header? "Add to address book" is in the drop down menu.
