Hi, we started our pc's as normal this morning but couldn't download any emails that were received after 7.50pm last night. We switched the Wifi off on one computer and used the internet service provider via hot spot on a mobile phone and have been able to down load and send emails on the computer using that. All other functions on both the computers are working. We have full internet access with the exception of the website of our host provider (? we can't login) Seems very odd to have almost full internet access yet no emails can be downloaded we really don't know where to look. Hope you can help us. Cheers

Suggest you get this sorted first. There should be a 'forgotten password' or similar link which may take you through a few basic steps to get access to webmail account. User name is usually the full email address. Password should be the same one used by Thunderbird when it accesses the account. As this is an issue, something may be causing it to be unable to get access. Sometimes, I've been prompted to logon to webmail, just so they can be sure I'm still who I say I am, just to get REmails downlaoded. If the webmail account requires you to logon or update a password etc, then it has to be sorted in the webmail account first.
