Whether clicking on the toolbar icon, the desktop icon, or the listing in search results, the same thing happens: the loading icon briefly appears, and then it's as if I didn't click anything at all. No browser window, no error message, nothing. I've restarted my computer. I've run a security scan and found nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I've created a new profile and tried to start Firefox with it. None of these methods has made any difference.

Any help would be much appreciated. I'm using Windows 10.

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift (Mac: Options) key to see if that helps.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.
