2800 filters is pretty high. Is that just for one email account? Why so many? Why the question, is it too much?
Yes they are only for one account. Because the filter are for a travel agency. Because Thunderbird has high difficulties to manage them (freezes for a long time: even 10 -15 minutes) and often doesn't add a new filter
