I've cleared cache, cookies, reset Firefox, run in safe mode. Checked cookies are enabled for ebay. I've manually disabled all extensions and plug ins. Run Malwarebytes and antivirus. I've even tried another browser and the same thing happens. I'm not sure what else to try as it doesn't seem to be a Firefox issue if my other browser has the same issue. Any advice appreciated.

This could mean the problem is something else on the computer. Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?

Hi Fred, This didn't work either. Everything else works fine though. Youtube and Facebook let me log in.

Thanks

Use this link to check that your plugins are up-to-date. If any are listed as unknown or research, do not worry about them.

There was one which needed updating but to be honest I didn't even know this program had a plugin. It's a video player but I don't really want to update it as I hardly use it, and never use it in Firefox. I just disabled it in the plug-ins section and tried to log-in again but no luck. I have a lot of plug-ins which showed up as "research" , no idea what half of them are.

Could your ISP be blocking these?

Not a clue. But using a VPN I just get the same result. Whereas other sites that require a login seem to work fine. Could it be one of the many many weird plug-ins I don't recognize?
