I have tried all the solutions to fix homepage reset problem and nothing works.

Nothing has fixed the problem.

Firefox will remember my homepage for two or three restarts of program, then it forgets it again and resets to Firefox start page. Help!

Did you try to backup the prefs.js file and check the file to see if its content gets changed?
