How do I delete & reinstall without losing mail folders or profile?

Nobody can figure out how to make my Preferences pop-up dialogue boxes stop shrinking when I move from one tab to another.

so how do I uninstall but not lose my mail or my profile?

If the problem persists after that, I guess I'll have to trash the Profile as well and go thru the hassle of setting up the DSL & pop mail pathways again.

Your preferences and mail data are separate from the program and are totally unaffected by a reinstall. I think your underlying issue will also be totally unaffected. But give it a go by all means.
