How do I install an Add-On to a computer that is not connected to the internet?

I work on a network that is not connected to the internet and I want to install an Add-On (or two) to the Mozilla browsers. How do I move the necessary files to that network?

Hello roadmanjim, with a computer with internet connection you can right-click the Add to Firefox button > Save Link As… and save the xpi file in the file you want. Now you can move it (with usb) to the computer without internet connection and install it.

Continuing what ideato posted ....

To install the saved XPI files, either drag the XPI into the browser window or use File > Open File... in Firefox.

You can also use "Install Add-on From File…" in the "Tools for all add-ons" (cogwheel button) drop-down list on the about:addons page to install an extension that you have saved to the hard drive.
