Suddenly my emails are flagged as [ViaForwarding]: instead of just showing up
I use an email forwarding address. Possibly after updating Thunderbird to 45.0, my email are flagged as [ViaForwarding], I cannot sort them into folders by sender, the original message shows up as an attachment and Thunderbird blocks the remote content in the message

Sounds like your forwarding service is not doing it's job properly. I suggest you contact them.
