I upgraded Mozilla Thunderbird to version 45.1.1 (Wrongly posted as 46.9.1) and Lightning was disabled, how do I get Lightning to work again?
I fixed it. I upgraded Mozilla Thunderbird to version 45.1.1 through a multi-upgrade repetitive process and all works fine now. The below post listed version "46.9.1" but I can't figure where that version number was viewed at. Earlier this evening, Lightning was disabled as a not-compatible add-on. I had asked "How do I get Lightning to work again? There doesn't seem to be a download for Lightning compatible above Thunderbird's version 45 or any articles to help. One misdirect shows tools, options (or Add-ons) with a top selection showing Lightning is now part of Thunderbird, but my newly upgraded Thunderbird 46.0.1 does not show Lightning as part of the product. I can no longer view vCalender invites I regularly receive from others who use Outlook Calendar invites, and this function is critical." Lightning is working now. Thanks to all who may have spent time to read my post!

I honestly dont know where I got v 46.9.1, I cut and pasted it from somewhere??? After several upgrades I got to v 45.1.1 and, as you indicated, Lightning v 4.7.1.1 and all is now working. Thank you very much.

The last general release of Thunderbird is V45.1.1 and it uses Lightning 4.7.1. Where did you get and why are you trying to run V46.9.1?
