more options

The filter puts some junk emails into a self-created folder, I just want to know how I can set up something in Thunderbird so the junk emails would be automatically permanently deleted after certain interval(eg. 30 mins, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 1 day, 2 days)

The self-created folder would be remain.

Chosen solution

Thunderbird has a junk folder. IT also has setting to automatically mange the aging of junk mail. I suggest you use the built in options that do what you want instead of trying to create your own personal junk folder and recreate it's functions.
