I can't see font icons on Firefox 47

more options

Hello Forum,

From a few days ago, I can't see font icons in any website. I followed this steps (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1012607) and I check every detail but the issue continues. I'm on Windows (fresh Windows 10 Pro x64 installation) and I have Mozilla Firefox 47 x64 (fresh installation) with no extra add-ons (I only install Java and FlashPlayer).

When I use the developer console on (http://fontawesome.io/cheatsheet) this show up:

"downloadable font: not usable by platform (font-family: "FontAwesome" style:normal weight:normal stretch:normal src index:3) source: http://fontawesome.io/assets/font-awesome/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.ttf?v=4.6.3"

and also "NetworkError: A network error occurred."

I will send a screenshot, if someone know how resolve this, please let me know.

Chosen solution

Hello,

After read this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1228799

I resolved the issue by enable the following options:

- gfx.direct2d.force-enabled -> True - gfx.font_rendering.cleartype.always_use_for_content -> True - gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.force-enabled -> True

If anyone have the same issue, try to enable those options.
