my husband is the prinary user of this desktop. he does research and just leaves many dozens of pages and tabs up for his convenience, rather than learn a filing system. i didn't mean to delete all his pages. when he finds out i've lost all his references, he's gonna freak! what can i do to restore them?

Did you check "History -> Recently Closed Tabs/Windows" to see if there is a window to restore?

Are you using the Time Machine on that computer?

If you use the Time Machine then try to restore file(s) from that backup.

For tabs you need an older copy of the sessionstore.js file.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

Note that your husband can click the star on the Navigation Toolbar to quickly bookmark the current tab.
