Two related questions: 1) When someone replies to my message I get the header of the original message in the format:

On mm/dd/yyyy hh:MM PM, Joe Blow wrote:

Followed by my message body with '>' at the beginning of each line. With Outlook, I got (and my users are used to getting)

 -----Original Message---
 From:
 To:
 Sent:
 Subject:

message body

Is there any way to alter the "On [date]" format in Thunderbird to give the From, To, etc. information?

2) Is there a way to NOT put the '>' in front of each line in the include message?

I think you need one of two addons (I can never remember which does what) or possibly both.

There are standards (RFCs) and conventions (nettiquette) in email which Thunderbird respects. These add-ons will make Thunderbird behave more like a non-compliant Microsoft email client.  ;-)
