When my website host provider tries to email me at my outlook.com account, their address "support@sitehostingsource.com" always gets blocked and doesn't even end up as spam or junk for me to see. How do I allow a legitimate address to reach my "in" box? Thanks for your help in advance!

You need to take that up with Microsoft. It would appear to be their server that's doing the damage.

Can you not go to your outlook account in their website and whitelisting this sender? There is almost certainly nothing that Thunderbird can do if the message is being killed off before it even comes eligible for download.
