Had an issue for past 3 weeks - I can't upload any pictures to Facebook on my W10 PC It starts .. I select file, it looks like its progressing .... sometimes I get a moving progress bar ... but it never loads and 'post' button never goes active.

If I use my phone or another PC I can upload same pictures no problem. I have tried other browsers but same fault - as the browser experts hoping you can help.

tried usual diagnostics ... sfc scannow, chkdsk, malwarebytes ... all error free

As may be realated - another piece of the puzzle - on FB home page there is a drop down menu to report a problem ..... when I try that I get samne error - moving bar ... but never completes upload.

I can access and upload to other sites - eg photobucket OK

hi, this is just a wild guess: are you using trusteer rapport software on the affected device? in the past we have seen similar issue caused by them...

I don't have anything by that name installed, unless it is part of something else - not aware of it.

ok, if you are not aware of it then it's probably a different issue (some financial institutions encourage their clients to install this software to make online banking more secure)

can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

Just tried it is safe mode - exactly the same.

does it make a difference if you disable the script-injection within the traffic processing section of kaspersky's advanced settings in the network panel?

Took a little while to find that option - makes no difference when I turn it off.

do things look better when you refresh firefox? & i don't think it will be related but you can also try updating to firefox 49 which was released yesterday... Update Firefox to the latest release

Tried a refresh yesterday - and just carried out upgrade - no difference.

Pics are fine FB account is fine ............. it is the browser file handling between PC & server, assuming error is on my PC. It must be pretty unique to how pics are uploaded to FB as uploads to other sites work fine.

From another PC ... browser works fine ... so confirmed as local to this PC.
