emails arrive in bold printing before new thunderbird update,when message was read,it was no longer in bold print,NOW it remains in Bold Print after reading

HELP HELP HELP for the 4th Times BUT NOBODY WILL REPLY TO ME WITH A ANSWER Before the Last Thunderbird update When I received a email it was shown in BOLD print until I read it & then it would be in normal print (GREAT) BUT NOW,when a email arrives,(YES) it is in BOLD print & after reading the message or opening it, IT REMAINS IN BOLD PRINT as is shown as UNREAD Can some Body PLEASE HELP HELP HELP Thanks Darryl

I checked your profile but this is the only question relating to unread staying bold, so I'm not sure what you mean by '4th time'.

Please check these settings. via 'Menu Bar': 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Display' > 'Advanced' tab OR via 'Mail Toolbar': 'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Options' > 'Display' > 'Advanced' tab

  • select: 'Automatically mark messgaes as read'
  • select: 'immediately on display'
  • click on 'OK'
