How to apply new Sync account to an old PC without messing up the new Sync?
I just deleted my old firefox (sync) account and set up a brand new one, configured exactly how i want it on my main PC.
But i have a laptop that still has all the old settings and junk from my previous sync account.
If i log into my new sync account on that laptop, it will move all of the old junk onto my new account!
The "choose what you sync" on laptop only appears AFTER i log in with my new sync account, and it does not fix the problem.
How do i force my laptop to just "receive" data from my new sync account without uploading any of the old junk to it?

Create a new Profile. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
Then log in to the new Sync account.

I have already created a new sync profile and set it all up how i need it.
If i log into that new profile on my old laptop, ALL the old junk will be transferred to my new sync account and f*ck it all up.
I need a way to force my new Sync account's configuration to be applied to the old laptop, without any of the junk from the old laptop being applied to my new Sync account...

The existing Firefox Profile on the "old laptop" may have the old Sync data, where a new Profile would have no data at all. At least until you connect to the new Sync account.

I misunderstood what you meant with your first post. Your second post helped me out, thank you.
