Why is it telling me to check "temporary directory" settings when I try to email a document?

The document is a Wordperfect document that I revise and send to another email address periodically. I have never had this problem before. I can't email it and can't save the email in my drafts folder. When I tried the latter, I got this message: Unable to save your message as a draft. Unable to open the temporary file C:\Users\jeanne\AppData\Local\Temp\moz_mapi\helzer.rep-1.wpd. Check your 'Temporary Directory' setting.

Try running the disk cleanup tool on your start menu in accessories. It may be your temp folder has 10 or 20 thousands dead files in it.
