I have a question which is similar to https://support.mozilla.org/zh-CN/questions/1015401 which does not have an answer. Basically, when using firefox on Surface 3 / Surface Pro 4, when you swipe up the screen to scroll the page, there is a high probability that you would be switched to another tab. In that question, disabling All-in-one gesture workarounds the problem. In my case, it's FireGesture. However, I don't want to disable this, since sometimes I use it with mouse and keyboard so gesture control is useful. With some experiments, it seems like that

  • If you wait for one swipe to finish and then start another one, there is no problem.
  • Only swiping up has this problem. Swiping down is ok.
  • I've disabled prev-tab/next-tab gestures in FireGesture, but the problem persists.

Anyone else has better solution than just disabling gesture control addons?

As I just found out, disabling FireGesture does not fix the problem... So there is something else.

Actually, disabling "switch tab while scrolling on the tab bar" in tab mix plus fixes the problem, but that is also not a solution.
