I get a website timeout when I try to access hagerty.com. Am I the only one? Same when using edge
This just started recently. I get a newsletter from them which contains links and they won't open. I googled hagerty and try accessing it from there. same result. I typed hagerty.com in browers search box and I noticed the swirly thing is greyed out instead of the usual blue

I got to https://www.hagerty.com/ with no problem.
What happens when you try those links? Error messages?
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
- Clear the Cache and
- Remove Cookies
Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to.
Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar.
- Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.
- Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.
If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe websites. Are there any problems?
Then restart.
Hi Fred: Did everything you said but same result. Says its connecting then times out. To clarify,I am on vaca in Costa Rica and use ghostery to block trackers. Strange thing is edge can't load the sight either

If it's not just Firefox, it could be something else in your system.
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
You can check the connection settings.
- Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> Network : Connection -> Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Options+window+-+Advanced+panel
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

Hi cor-el: thank you for taking the time to suggest steps to correct my problem. Unfortunately,I still cannot connect using firefox,edge or IE. I will wait til I get home at end of February to work on the problem. Not a do or die situation
