I'd like to create folders that contain different collections of inboxes. For example, if I had inboxes

1. Adam.work@gmail.com 2. Adam.amazon@gmail.com 3. Adam.friends@gmail.com

I'd need to create folder A that contains 1 and 2, and folder B that contains 2 and 3, and I would want to show folder A on startup. How can I do this?

I tried creating a folder by selecting Inbox at the top, go to Edit > Find > Search Messages and add a criterion To, Adam.friends@gmail.com, doesn't contain, but it doesn't work. Search doesn't work and if I press "Save as Search Folder" I can't select multiple folders and I get an alert saying I have to select at least one folder .

I think you want to create virtual folders: A contains 1 and 2, B contains 2 and 3. Start from File/New/Saved Search...
