As explained in the title, Firefox Dev edition suddenly started giving very slow startups, with no-responding screens, and after a while a "script doesn't respond" message, that you can see in the screenshot uploaded: The script name is "resource://gre/modules/commonj...data/content.firefox.bundle.js:17327

I can't load firefox in secure mode (holding the shift key down), or create a new profile to reset everything

Some updates: I tried to reboot my pc into safe mode, and firefox does start. So I made a reset, and then rebooted the PC in standard mode. Firefox is slightly faster, but neverthless too slow and unresponsive for daily use

hi, we are currently aware of a bitdefender signature update that's causing some havoc for firefox users - are you using bitdefender security products on your system by chance? https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/69zsnj/help_super_laggy_firefox_browser_08052017/dhbles0/

That's exactly what I'm using... (I mean, BitDefender) Thank you so much... :)
