why does Frontier no longer support Thunderbird?
starting at about 9 AM, Eastern, today - I can no longer get email. Using Thunderbird with Comcast/Xfinity connection.
Chosen solution
Check your Thunderbird e-mail settings to what Comcast/Xfinity wants:
https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email/
Make sure you are using IMAP with SSL. If you have all the settings correct, contact Comcast.
In Thunderbird, right-click the account and choose "Settings".
For incoming e-mail: Select "Server Settings" on the left side under your e-mail account, and the settings are on the right side.
For outgoing e-mail: Select "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" on the left side, then select the server you want on the right side. Click the "Edit" button to change the settings.
