Bookmarks Order and Favicons

I am using FF 53.0.2 (32-bit) and I am curious as to why my Bookmarks won't stay in the order I place them. If I "Show All Bookmarks" and sort them A-Z, it sorts them, but does not carry over to the actual Bookmark list. If I manually make them alphabetical, it will remain that way for a little while and then revert back to what it was. My bookmarks sync just fine, except for the alphabetical ordering. I have done reinstalls and refreshes, same issue.

Side Note: when are favicons going to be included in the syncing of bookmarks? I've read that years back this was in the pipeline, but hasn't come to light yet.

If you use the Views menu in the Library then this is the equivalent of clicking the column header. That way you only sort the list for viewing purposes and aren't actually sorting the list permanent;y.

You can right click a folder to sort all the bookmarks in this folder (Sort By Name). Note that sorting is done between separators.

Does anyone happen to know if Mozilla plans to include favicon syncing and bookmark location/order syncing.

I prefer FF for its speed, plugins, and developer tools, but I also like Chrome's favicon/bookmark syncing.
