after Win 10 update 1703, which went fine except for TB:

personal addressbook is missing autocomplete for email addresses won't work any longer on add contact, I can choose to add to personal addressbook, but there is none, and the contact is then shown under all contacts.

I have a backup of my profile, I can't just copy it over because the TB on updated PC now has more emails (it is a few days later). So I can copy over settings files or db for addresses, but not the whole profile with old email dbs.

So my detailed question: what do I need to copy over from old profile to get personal addressbokk back, as well as autocomplete.

thanks,

Klaus

I don't think you should need to resort to a backup.

thanks Wayne, that brings them back.

So I will selectively enable them back to see which addon it is, and post here and/or contact the author, if no update is available.

it's cardbook on most recent 45.?.?. I think I installed it around the time when I did the Win 10 update, so Win 10 is not the culprit.

By the way, is there a method to determine my TB version number without initiating an update? (I tried help->about).

The forced updare to 52.? did not solve the autocomplete conflict with cardbook but throws an exception in quickfilter. I will see what I can find out about that.
