Hi.

Option is activated by default when pressing ctrl + F. That means half my searches turn partial or neg results as case is not appropriate.

How do I cancel that (very) silly default setting?

Thx.

Chosen solution

You can check accessibility.typeaheadfind.casesensitive on the about:config page and make sure it is not user set (bold).

You can reset user set (bold) pref(s) on the about:config page via the right-click context menu to the default value.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
