Why doesn't my new computer bring in bookmarks saved on my Android?

I have Firefox Sync enabled on both my Android phone and my computer. I have about 100 bookmarks or so saved on my Android, which is signed into my Firefox Sync account. When I got my new laptop, I downloaded Firefox, then went into the menu and signed in to Firefox Sync using the same email address and password as I use on my phone. I expected all of those bookmarks to be brought over to my laptop, but nothing happened. I can't figure out why it isn't bringing anything over. Please help! Thanks.

Hi

I understand that Firefox Sync did not connect to your mobile device on this occasion, but hopefully I should be able to help you force a Sync event to take place.

Assuming you have connected the same Sync account on both your mobile and desktop copies of Firefox:

In Firefox on your mobile device:

  1. Go into the Settings menu and select Firefox Sync
  2. Tap on Synchronise now

This will “force” a synchronisation of the data that is on the local device storage.
