I have done the whole list: Table of Contents 1. Restart your computer 2. Clear your cookies and cache 3. Restart Firefox in Safe Mode 4. Reinstall Firefox 5. Refresh Firefox 6. Create a new Firefox profile Other solutions Troubleshoot your plugins Check for conflicts with your Internet security software Check for malware but nothing solved the problem. Only cleaning firefox in about:support helps but if I shut down firefox or the computer the problem is backnext start. Now I use opera. Sorry.

Hi tnubi. That is indeed a frustrating issue. I dealt with something similar quite recently. I found that my antivirus was to blame. Bitdefender's Malware Protection Shield was the root cause of my problem. It was preventing Firefox from loading completely. It's possible that something similar is going on with your system. I've linked my question/solution below for you to review.

Firefox will not work until 'refreshed': https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1163460

Let me know if this has helped you solve your issue, or if you require additional assistance.

Hi Fiz, thank you so much. You solved my problem. Firefox now works properly again. Just a little click and a big problem has vanished. This software-problem should be eliminated.
