Thunderbird Version: 52.2.0 OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 Bit, SP1 E-mail Accounts: IMAP & POP3 E-mail Service Provider: various Antivirus Protection: Avast Firewall: Windows + Windows 10 Firewall Control

Hello everybody,

Remote content is blocked. If I select "Always Load Remote Images", the setting does not remain.

As soon as the e-mail is left with the actually canceled protection, the setting is lost. This does not require any reboots.

Since one of my main activities is the processing of e-mails, this behavior is extremely annoying. Can someone please help me?

best regards Marco

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
