I cannot send or receive any emails due to A "Failure to Connect to Server" message. I cannot locate my password anyway. I've tried to remember when I connected to Thunderbird/Mozilla. I'm at a loss of what to do next to get any help. I've been told that I must start all over again and get a new email address. This makes no sense. It seems like an internet connection problem. If so, why is this happening.

Failed to connect to the server can have many causes, none of which should require a new email address.
