Default Columns for Search Messages

When I open the "Search Messages" dialog, the default columns are: Subject, Correspondents, Date, Location. I can change the columns manually for that instance of the dialog by clicking the icon to the right of the Location column.

How can I modify the column layout, so that I always see the particular columns I want?
