I had to change my password for my thunderbird account. Since then when I turn on my computer and open Thunderbird I need my password. I wasn't this way before I changed the password. How do I go back to the old way.

Chosen solution

The password prompt box should have a checkbox that you tick in order to tell Thunderbird to remember the password for you.

If you have both old and new passwords stored, Thunderbird doesn't know which to use so asks you. The answer might be to to review your saved passwords and removed any mention of the old one.
