I have a Hotmail account which is closed, actually disappeared, I cannot access it, it is connected to a Thunderbird account which i am keeping. My problem is the 2 accounts are connected and all my inbox from Thunderbird is sent to the Hotmail account, how can I stop this. bm

There is no such thing as a "Thunderbird account". You've set up an account with an email provider, e.g. Gmail or Yahoo. Then you use Thunderbird to access mail for that account on your email provider's server, as well as to send mail via your email provider's server.

So far you were talking only about one account (Hotmail). What is the second account?

You'd need to explain what that means. Inbox is for receiving messages, not sending.
