unable to send eMails
This may be the second time I've raised this question but this time the images have uploaded...
Scince the problm time (approx June '17) when there was issues with downloading eMails from Yahoo (amongst other) when I had issues downloading I've also had sending issuues to the extent now I'm unable to send eMails.
System is Operating System = Win 10 (ver 1703) 64 bit Thunderbird ver 52.3.0 AntiVirus McAfee by British Telecom ISP = BT eMail Provider = BT (hosted by Yahoo - I believe)
The eMail download to Thunderbird now works OK but the sending now never works direct from Thunderbird. This has got progressively worse. I leave my eMails on the server so that I can use 'WebMail' from other machines. But If I save the eMail I've written to the 'Drafts' folder and then go into WebMail I can send the eMail from there without issue.
Chosen solution
Things I would try: turn off McAfee email scanning (or better, run in Windows safe mode with networking - Shift+Restart in W10); delete passwords from Tools/Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, OK, restart TB, enter password when prompted; check if BT requires 'less-secure apps' be enabled or if an app password is required.

Your picture doesn't show the outgoing server (SMTP) settings, which should be: mail.btinternet.com on port 465, SSL/TLS security, normal password authentication, user name = full email address.
Even if you have the right settings, other factors that could be relevant include McAfee scanning of outgoing mail and password/security requirements of BT Yahoo email.
Sorry, Added Outgoing details screenshot. Details as as expected.

Many thanks - sorted.
