I'm not sure what may have happened, but when i open a youtube video in a new tab, it won't start playing unless i press the play button on the new tab, or if i switch to the new tab. Anyone know how to disable this so it'll play it right away?

Are you using any blocking add-ons/programs?

YouTube has an auto-play setting. Check it.

You can set this pref to false on the about:config page.

  • media.block-autoplay-until-in-foreground = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
