Whenever I open Yahoo mail I have to login every time. This has not happened before. I have had Yahoo mail and firefox for 15 years and all was fine until Monday. I have tried all the troubleshooting and nothing works.

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?

There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically. The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server. If this "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you and you will have to sign in once again. Removing this "remember me" cookie makes the website forget about you and require you to sign in again.

Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you.

Current version of Firefox is 56.0.2 fyi.

Delete your cache, delete your temp files, delete your cookies that have to do with yahoo, some do not say yahoo. I have looked but I do not see what used to be the others since is no owned by AOL who runs it under Oath https://www.oath.com/en-ca/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I have the same problem! It's not the password manager, it's that something keeps logging me out of yahoo mail so that each time I have to sign in yet again. I have the Keep me signed in checked, that's not it. I have my yahoo cookies saved. The only thing I can see is under options/privacy/history/cookies, under keep cookies until they expire, some yahoo ones are set to expire today's date and there's no way to change it.
