I have emails from a person containing many friends & their email addresses. Is there an easy (or maybe a not so easy) way to create a Thunderbird Mailing List from that email with copying a pasting all emails into the Address Book?

Chosen solution

The MoreFunctionsForAddressBook add-on allows you to harvest the addressees from a message.

However, I don't think it will help if you need to collect addresses from the body text.

There is another add-on, called Email Address Crawler from the same author which can lift addresses from multiple messages and from the message bodies.

However, if the addresses are presented in a neat orderly fashion, you may find you can just copy and paste them into a Mailing List.
