I've been using Firefox Nightly for a while, but I think it updated today an now it crashes on startup. I have been completely unable to use Firefox since the last update.

Here's the error log:

and

I tried running in safe mode with "firefox -safe-mode", but it still crashes.

I also tried deleting my profile from "%appdata%/firefox/profiles" but that didn't help either.

Any ideas? Is there anyway I can go back one version in Firefox nightly?

Thanks!

There is a bug report attached (Bug 1414556 - Crash in SelectorMatchesTree) that is duped to a bug that is marked as fixed. You probably need to download the latest Nightly build once this has landed in the current release (don't know if the current build has it).

  • bug 1414513 - Crash in libmozglue.dylib@0x2164a - MOZ_CRASH Reason: XBL compat hack matched, please file a bug blocking

You can also try to start Firefox without using the Profile Manager if you currently use it. Try -P profile and try -profile "profile_path"
