No, you are way below updating. To me I do not see different shades of green here. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Linux_compatibility_matrix But think you are compatible
Save your profile https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data I would also screen shoot your passwords and export your Bookmarks as HTML from Show All Bookmarks --> Import & Export
Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thank you very much, Pkshadow!
I initially assumed that, as you said, it would have to be installed. Then, as I read various comments and help pages, I became puzzled by comments about Firefox updating itself. So I decided I'd better be sure of what is fact.
I really appreciate your advice about precautions before installing, and the links you provided. I'll have to do some study of these, like for example, screen shooting my passwords. I don't know anything about that, but it should be an easy search. So it will be a little while before I get it done.
Again, thanks very much! Lauren
