New version of Firefox NO two sided Brother printing. Using Firepox drop down menu to print
The Firefox drop down menu will not allow me to select 2 sided printing! However, the Computer Control panel advanced settings the 2 sided printing option is selected. The trouble seems to be with Firefox 'print' drop down menu. Firefox recently updated so that may be the root cause. I can print 2 sided from my iPhone and other desktop applications/documents. How do I get back to an older version of Firefox? Robert

Hi Robert, when I call up Print directly or from Print Preview, I get the same basic dialog for all printers. Any changes I want to make based on special behaviors of the printer, I have to use the Properties button.
If Firefox 56 was displaying a special print dialog before, possibly that was generated by an add-on. Could you check your extensions and disabled extensions and see whether you have one from Brother? Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
- type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. Then scan down the list on the right side to the bottom where disabled extensions generally cluster. You may be able to re-enable any relevant ones there.
Also, please check for a link at the top of the page to view a list of Legacy extensions that do not run in Firefox 57+. Is there anything Brother-related there?
Hi bbdqj, My antivirus software says you have a problem. Can you just copy and paste the text and send.

Are you referring to the website someone suggested? Please ignore that, I think it's some kind of spam.
jsher, From my control panel>hardware & Sound>Device & Printers> The Brother Printer Preferences tab shows 2 sided printing IS selected; And from the Printer Properties>Advance tab> printing defaule shows 2 sided printing. No add-ons No Extensions 2 Plug-ins: OPENH264 by Cisco says automatically installed my Mozilla, and Shockwave Flash. Don't see link in the email I received re: legacy extensions.
Seems updated Firefox whipped out every add-on and extension I had and I'm not sure what I had!
I very much appreciate the help. but of a solution/fox cannot be foing can I revert back to an earlier version?

Oh, sorry, I meant at the top of the Extensions list on the Add-ons page. You need to switch from Plugins to Extension using the left in the left column of the Add-ons page.
jscher, The fix/solution was to create and new 'profile' for the printer, and set it for 2 sided printing, etc. Thanks for all your help. Mozilla update still wiped out my previous 'setting'. I am getting tired of having to deal with constant updates and the programmers lack of thoroughly beta testing them before release. Just tired of my 'settings' being changed, and me having to find out how to fix them. Robert
How do you create a new profile for the printer?
